Richard Grayson, curator of the exhibition ‘Polytechnic’ will be joined by Benjamin Cook, Director of LUX, Susan Hiller, artist, and Catherine Elwes, artist and writer, to talk about the conditions and cultures that were shaping experimental practices in the UK in the period that the exhibition covers – the late seventies and early eighties – and how these debates might relate to art practices today.
